A Cerebral Palsy can result when the unborn baby suffers brain injury during the development of fetus. There are various other reasons which can lead to Cerebral Palsy.

Maternal Infections

If mother has contracted some sort of infections during the pregnancy, then it increases the chances of baby suffering from Cerebral Palsy.
