within the Statute of Limitations of Nebraska State. Once your Statute of

Negligence / Personal Injury - 4 years with Discovery Rule
Wrongful Death - 2 years. However Statute of Limitations can
be 4 years in products liability cases only
Medical Malpractice - 2 Years. In case injury was not discovered
within 2 years then lawsuit must be filed within one year from the date that
injury was or should have been discovered. You cannot file a medical
malpractice lawsuit if there is a lapse of 10 years.
Malpractice (Other Professions) - Statute of Limitations is 2 Years
Products Liability - 4 Years (with Discover Rule)/ SOR: 10 Years
Intentional Torts - 1 Year
Fraud - 4 Years. Statute of limitations can be filed after discover
of fraud or mistake.
Municipal Liability - If you are filing a lawsuit against the State
then it must be within 2 Years.

Disabilities - For infancy (20th birthday), Statute of Limitations runs
after removal of disability.
